Elie Saab’s Spring–Summer 2027 ready-to-wear collection, À Fleur de Peau, draws on the screen glamour of Jean Harlow. Fluid gowns and delicate layers bring a relaxed, romantic mood to occasion dressing.
Collection Highlights
Sage green, powder blue and blush create a soft palette, while black lace provides contrast. Rose embroidery, ribbons and ruffles add detail to silk and lingerie-inspired silhouettes. Asymmetric hems and trailing linings give the clothes a deliberately less formal finish.
Layering is central to the collection: loose trench coats accompany sheer midi skirts, while embellished tops sit alongside shimmering net pieces. Draped silk wraps introduce another way to play with movement and coverage.

Black Diamond’s Design Perspective
For occasion dressing, our takeaway is to choose one focal detail: a lace neckline, floral embroidery or a softly draped wrap. Keep accessories simple and consider lining and coverage alongside the silhouette. These are Black Diamond’s editorial styling observations.
